Adapting for impactful, on-site filming

In the midst of the pandemic, we provided an innovative solution to help our client, Tourism HR Canada, record a set of videos promoting their student work placement program.

When the client came back to us to produce more, we no longer needed to send out self-guided video shooting “kits” to the people featured in the videos. Instead, we travelled to them with our mobile, professional gear to do in-person interviews and scout and shoot location-specific B-roll instead of using generic stock footage.

The venues we filmed in provided a great opportunity to enhance the videos and make a compelling message for the audience. When we’re filming unfamiliar locations and people with busy schedules, logistics can be a challenge, but we proposed solutions and reacted on the spot to make the most of the time we had and to maximize the chance to record in several beautiful spaces. The result is a high-quality set of videos that truly showcases the opportunity to work in this exciting, dynamic industry.
