Harmonic Arts

We redesigned the product packaging experience for Harmonic Arts, a plant-powered wellness business. Thanks to our intentional and flexible design approach, we earned the owners’ trust and confidence and continue to work together to this day.

Collaborative approach

Harmonic Arts needed to evolve the designs on th eir elixir (now herbal lattes) packaging. Founded by two clinical herbalists, Yarrow and Angela Willard, the company produces artisan teas, tinctures, syrups, and botanical dispensary products designed to support health and wellness.

The owners, who are deeply connected to their products, found comfort in our collaborative process
and we’ve done multiple projects together since then. The fall mushroom campaign, “Wellness from the Ground up”, which we designed and executed was nominated for a Canadian Health Food Association (CBHA) Brand Impact Award and resulted in a 68% sales increase.

Intentional packaging design

We designed the updated packaging to fit the new prototype of an eco-friendly container, evolving from cardboard tins to bags. Our team started with a series of solid mock-ups for four products, that hit shelves across Canada summer of 2024. We created custom illustrations for each evolved bag, that visually tell the story of what’s naturally in the product. The new holistic design balances the foundational look and use of their elixir (now latte) product line, with a fresh layout that showcases a blend of yin and yang energies.

The perfect cultural fit

Our thoughtful process—gentle yet thorough, transparent solutions—is exactly what Harmonic Arts was looking for with agency representation but had trouble finding until now.

Plus, as a bilingual agency, we are bridging the gap between French-speaking consumers and the BC-located business, something Harmonic Arts has wanted to do for a while. It’s been a beautiful development of a relationship and a building of trust and integrity along the way.

“I am thrilled to express my utmost satisfaction with Initiate Marketing Inc. for their outstanding work in reimagining and designing a new label for our Herbal Lattes line. Their creativity and attention to detail were truly exceptional, resulting in a finished product that not only captures our brand essence but also one that we feel will resonate well with our target audience. The team’s communication, inventiveness, and openness to feedback made the entire collaboration an enjoyable experience, even when there was emotions involved in the decision making process. Overall, I cannot express enough how much they are a delight to work with. I highly recommend Initiate Marketing Inc. for their remarkable design expertise, and we look forward to continued collaboration with their team!”
